What is the difference between the WhatsApp Business API and KobiChat’s API?

Meta’s WhatsApp Business API is the official channel for sending and receiving business messages on WhatsApp. KobiChat’s REST API and webhooks sit on top of it: they connect those conversations to your own systems, such as your online store, website or CRM.

Do I need to be able to code to use the API?

For direct API calls and webhooks you need a developer. If you would rather connect without code, Zapier, Make and n8n read our webhooks and API directly.

What can I connect with the API and webhooks?

You can fetch or create contacts and labels, send messages through the API, and receive a real-time signal on every new message through webhooks. There is also a dedicated lead webhook that turns forms on your website straight into a conversation or a lead.

Which plan includes the API, and what does it cost?

The REST API and webhooks are included with the Pro plan, from EUR 180 per month excluding VAT. Basic and Standard do not include the API.
